Mona has been both on-air and behind the scenes in various markets across the United States.
A resident of Knoxville, TN, she currently serves as the Development Director for the Blount County Habitat for Humanity in Maryville.
Previously, she was the Director of Military Affairs at the Chamber of Commerce that oversees the area around the Fort Campbell army base.
Prior to joining the chamber, Mona was a home shopping host at the national network Jewelry Television.
She spent 7 years as a news anchor and reporter at WATE-TV, the ABC affiliate covering East Tennessee.
In addition, Mona has delivered the news in Michigan and Kentucky and has done freelance hosting work for networks like TV One and Discovery ID.
She graduated college from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA with a major in Journalism, PR & Advertising and a minor in Theater Performance.
In 2017, Mona took time off from her career to focus a little more on her inner evolution, getting certified as a yoga instructor at the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Neyyar Dam, India.
She's also certified as an Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP) under the Gemological Institute of America.
Mona is of Indian descent. She graduated high school in Dubai, UAE, and was naturalized as an American citizen in 2012.
